Pray for Peace: Stop the Killings

 

The appeal by igor Polikha, the Ukranian envoy to India gone viral in social media on the occasion of Maha Shiv Ratri, made me emotional today. Definitely it is upto the hands of Lord Shiva who can give senses to the people to stop the killings of people. The War word is typical in English, it can be war of Words, similarly battle and fighting. But I do not advocate killings of people in the name of war, we have grown up with the philosophy of Live and Let Live.

 We also lost one student from Karnataka, Naveen Shekharappa Gyanagoudar and another getting injured has increased the palpitation. What’s next, every second watching the developments in the electronic media. I wish everyone to join and chant the following mantra of Lord Shiva:

“Om Triyambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pushti Vardhanaam! Urvarukamina Bandhanantt Mrityomukshiya Mamritaat!!”

One of the extremenly powerful manta helps us to escape the fear of losing life. God Shiva is known as the Lord of death and destruction, we expect only he can save us from the unknown fear of death and destruction. We with the Family members of people whose loved ones are stranded in War borne areas of Ukraine can recite this mantra to save them from death.
